William Allerston (son of Francis Allerston & Ann Woodcock) was born on 28 March 1811 in Bridlington, Yorkshire, England, was baptised on 10 April 1811 in Bridlington, Yorkshire, England, and died on 28 July 1898 in Pietermaritzburg, Natal, South Africa, at age 87.
