Merge Irving-904 with Irving-672.

Question

I have been asked to merge Irving-904 with Irving-672.  Irving 672 was created from a GEDcom file and has nothing of value attached. Irving 904 has a complete family attached. Why should I have to take the Irving-672 as the master file?   If I take Irving-672 as the master will all my other connections remain?  Will Irving-672 reflect that I am now the Profile Manager?

All of your data and family connections will stay with the profile as will the profile managers.  Any differences in name, date or place format have an option of which to keep for the final profile.

Both of the Biography sections will stay intact, so a post-merge clean-p is needed to consolidate them. If one biography has no sources or other data of value, it can be deleted.
