what was birdlebough name before america

Question

We think Peter Russell Birdlebough was the son of Peter Smith Birdlebough, who was the son of Joseph Birdlebough (born 1784 in Blackfield Prussia, Germany). Joseph's German name may be Julius Klein but not sure.
