What info do you have?
There were five living members of this family.

The eldest was William Andrew Russell (1862 - 1938) who became a leading educator in South Africa. Next came Hester (1865 - 1938) who was a doctor in India and she was followed by a sister, Annie Scott Dill Russell (1868 - 1947), who achieved great fame as Annie Maunder (see Wikipedia to get her story). The last member of the family was John Dill (1873 - 1955), who was a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and practiced in London. There was also another brother about whom I have so far found out nothing.  He was named James Alexander, and it is stated that in 1899 he was manager of the Halifax Bank, Windsor, Nova Scotia. They were members of a second family of a Presbyterian Minister in Strabane,.William A Russell, whose first wife had had a son with him named Samuel Marcus (1862 - 1938) the final head of the Imperial College, Peking.

Their mother was Hessie Dill and I think that her family tree may have originated around Milford, Co Donegal.
I know this is an old question, but you might look into his document regarding Donegal Dills:

http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~dill/TheTwelveDills.pdf

"February 22 1856
RUSSELL. On Friday, 15th inst., in her 27th year, MARY DILL, the beloved wife of the REV. W.A. RUSSELL, Strabane" from http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~cotyroneireland/burial/StrabaneDeaths1850-69.html - there's plenty there to look at in their Tyrone records.

Gravestone at St. Eunans Church of Ireland, Raphoe:

"Erected by the Rev. W. A. Russell, Strabane, in memory of his dear mother Mary Stevenson who died December 1844 aged 56 years, also Mary Dill Campbell his dearly beloved and truly affectionate wife who died 15 February 1856 age 29 years, also his infant children Samuel, Marcus and Mary Dill."

Great family history Russ. I see William Russell married a daughter of Dill #IV.
I have much detail on several of the family members and have prepared an article on Annie that will be published soon. When this takes place I will post a copy of it online and advise its location.I also have the public obituaries of Annie, Hester and John, as well as much detail on the educational success of Elizabeth, Annie and Hester in the Irish Intermediate Examinations.
An associate of mine has recently found the death certificate for James Alexander Russell.  This shows that he was a member of the first family being born on October 18, 1851 and died on November 18, 1832.  He was therefore older than Samuel Marcus.
Greetings John.

On April 14th there will be a local commemoration of the 150th birth of Annie Dill Russell and in May a Blue Plaque will be erected to publicly acknowledge her local association.  I have been asked to give a talk about her, but I wish to also highlight the achievements of the other members of the family.  Without being pedantic, could you please advise me of the sourse for the family inscription in Raphoe graveyard.  I visited it today but was unable to find such a gravestone.

Hi Michael,

Hello, I am just beginning to research my Russell family history from the Strabane area. My knowledge is limited to these facts; my 5th Great Grandfather John Donaldson born around 1720 married a Mrs Russell--they lived around the Donagheady Parish--1st Donagheady Church area. In my family tree there is a Joseph Russell Donaldson.  The family is also connected to the Bairds, Maxwells, Huttons, Osbornes and a few other families.
