While is sounds daunting and tedious to starting entering your family one at a time, it might actually be the most efficient, or at the very least, the most accurate method.
WikiTree does support uploading Gedcoms, which can allow you to quickly* upload many profiles at once. But it creates misc cruft that needs to be cleaned up later (so if I'm going back to revisit all my imported profiles, I might as well have imported them one at a time in the first place)
*quickly -- is a relative term. The entire process took weeks for me and was stalled out at least once.
Also, WikiTree is a single world tree, so many of your ancestors might already be here. Any duplicates will eventually be merged. (part of the long tedious gedcom import process is checking for and skipping possible duplicates)
