Could Louis Hennum's Suicide have caused the death of Mike Hruska?

Hello all,

I hope you all are doing well this weekend! I am doing fine but I have a bit of a conundrum for you all. I was doing some research into the gas poisoning that caused the death of my great granduncle, Mike Hruska (see http://www.wikitree.com/g2g/148844/michael-james-hruska-no-longer-a-mystery-). It appears that a Louis Hennum (see images on Mike's profile) committed suicided by turning up the gas in his room on the same night as Mike's death. It doesn't say that it was in a hotel but it also didn't say anything about it being in his home. I was wondering how plausible my theory is that Louis was in an adjoining room to Mike when he committed his suicide. Am I grasping at straws?

Also, could somebody help me decipher the name of the informant listed on Mike's death record?

Thank you,

Mike
