I have a book by H. Austin Cooper, "The Church of the Singing Hills", of Frederick County, Maryland, i.e., Locust Grove Brethern Church, founded by Elder Jacob Danner 1727-1814. Mr. Cooper grew up in this area and has many sources of information, i.e., people, church records, census, local stories/events, etc. He appears to been quite a collector of history and important facts, throughout his live in Frederick County area. However, I had a living Danner descendant say that he has all the family information mixed up. He has the wrong children for some parents and has the Michael Danners information mixed up. I would like to get others opinioins before I rely on what he has written. The book is published by the Brethern Church Publishing Company.
