New members' questions about GEDCOMs

Question

As a Greeter my most ask Question is about GEDCOMs which i must confess i dont know much about ,i point the New Members in the right Direction in Wikitree Help but they still have problems either the New members carnt download  or its not showing up etc some Members get really frustrated,  i have ask the Supervisors who are really helpful but i dont want to keep asking them as i know how busy they can get, i guess my Question is is there any easy way to do this or at least explain to the Members? Pointing them here for questions is always good too.

The fact is, there's nothing easy about importing into WikiTree. It takes careful thought and consideration on the part of the new member. Most new members aren't prepared for that. But if they don't spend the time, it hurts the community.
