Has anyone found evidence of Shadrack Weaver (1766-1849) being connected to any siblings/parents/grandparents?

Question

Shadrack born 1766 Chatham County, SC, USA.

Wife:  Mary S. Greene also born in Chatham County, SC, USA

Children: Total of 10- include, Mary, Elizabeth, Shaderick Jr., Dempsey, Tinsley, Rev. Green---

I cannot trace our roots beyond Shadrack. His name could be spelled millions of ways, first and last- he could not write himself, he was a revolutionary soldier, died in Maury County, TN 1849. His family made their way from SC, to TN, to TX.

My mom is a Weaver.

I have William Shadrack Weaver Sr. in my tree on another Ancestry tree, with William Wilson being his 1st born child with Lucy Greene. I have William being born in Ash, North Carolina 16, January 1788, and death- 2 August 1881 in Mt. Monah, Nevada, Arkansas.

 Though Shad did marry twice, 2nd to Julia Ann Tucker. With Julia, he had several children including William Shadrack Weaver Jr.,Martha Ann Weaver/ Savage, Tennessee E. Weaver, James V. Weaver, Robert Lanier Weaver, John B. Weaver, Dora Weaver/ Smith, Sarah F. Weaver, Lucy Ann Weaver.

I have William Shadrack Weaver Sr.’s parents as : Stephen Weaver Jr. ( 18 Oct,1742-1780) born and  died in Halifax County, NC), and Elizabeth Wadkins ( 1744).

Stephen Weaver Jr’s parents were: Stephen Weaver Sr. ( 1700-1750) born in Surry County, VIrginia and died in Chowan, NC, and Elena Tatum Cane ( 1709) born in Surry County, VIrginia and died in Halifax County, VIrginia.

YDNA testing of a descendant of [[Weaver-15467|Shadrach Weaver]] 1766-1849, revealed that he descended from [[Weaver-5281|John Weaver]] of Surry VA.  He did not descend from [[Weaver-9215|Stephen Weaver]], but probably came down from [[Weaver-4352|Aaron Weaver]].

 Additional YDNA testing of a descendant of [[Weaver-13954|Wilson Weaver]] revealed that he was NOT a son of Shadrach, but rather, Wilson descended from [[Weaver-454|Joshua Weaver]] of Ashe Co., NC.  The Weaver DNA Study Group on Facebook kicked off a research project in Feb 2023 to try to figure out how Wilson descended from Joshua or his brothers/uncles.

. Daughters of the American Revolution Patriot Index has SHADRACK WEAVER, born in Chatham County NORTH CAROLINA on August 2, 1766 and married to LUCY GREENE with 10 children.  He enlisted in the Rev. War at age 15 and served 6 months.  He was a member of the Rock Creek Baptist Church in Maury County Tenn.  He is buried in the OLD SHILOH CEMETERY.  His will was probated in Marshall County Tenn  June 4, 1849. I hope this gives you a few leads( note in one census his last name is spelled WEVER,wife and children same)

I'm trying to get further back than Shadrack as well and have hit a wall.  I did find something interesting though... My ancestor is Wilson Weaver, the firstborn of Shadrack and Lucy Green (b 1788), however he is not mentioned in a lot of lists of Weaver/Green child lists that I've seen.  Wilson was born the same year that Shadrack and Lucy married, so I almost wonder if he was born/conceived out of wedlock and was kept a secret?  In any case, proof that he is their child comes from the Weaver bible:  http://boards.ancestry.com/thread.aspx?mv=flat&m=111&p=localities.northam.usa.states.arkansas.counties.nevada
