How do I handle 2x possible Fathers?

I have 2 possible fathers for my Grandfather. Is there a way of linking both and indicating this? Should I just handle it with a note?

Thank you in advance

Have you created profiles for both?

Michael,

In historically-significant profiles (those with a large number of descendants, for example), where origins are in dispute, we typically include a "== Disputed Origins ==" section at the top of the narrative. We briefly describe the issue and link to the different candidates from there.

You'll find a bunch of examples through this google search:

Thank you Jillaine.  I will do this.  Fingers crossed that I eventually solve this via DNA matches.

The problem is with my grandfather [http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Buller-294]

Thanks again.
Interesting story. What about Peter Cahill?
I have not been able to find anything on a particular Peter Cahill to make a match.  I've also not had a conclusive DNA match on Ancestry for either Buller, Phelan, nor Cahill.

You can only put one person in the father field. If there are multiple possible fathers, I would put the most probable one in the father field and mark it as uncertain and then discuss the evidence for and against the different possible fathers in the narrative section. You can create links to each the possible fathers in the narrative by using [[Franklin-1|Ben Franklin]] (see http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Adding_Links )

Hi Chase, Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'm going to leave the father empty for now. I've added a Disputed Origins section to Ronald James Buller.
