My great gma was Barbara Jane West. (1890-1976)
Her father and mother were James T. West, and Eliza Suggs (1868?) (1870-1964) and his birth was in Texas. I don't have Mich information on him.
His father and mother was Jacob West (1821- Georgia) and Mary Wood.
He died in Atascosa Texas. From there, I find his parents, James Hampton West, and Jane Ann Walker (Boatwright?). James was born 1758-1885 in South Carolina. He died in Stockdale, Tx.
My problem goes from there.
I currently have his parents as Levi West (1760) and Bathsheba Rider or Rider.
I'm seeing Bathshua and Bathsheba both as well. Problem is that they are clear in Tolland, Connecticut. I'm also confused because there seems to be an Amasa West and Bathsheba or Bathshua Rider, also in Connecticut, as well as in Massachusetts. I'm really confused now. Anyone out there in this line?
