Why is a merge still showing as two different profiles? [closed]

Reynolds-1803 was merged long ago into unknnown-220794.

Because the claim that Cecily wife of Jordan-811. Bailey-587 and Farrar-393 was born Reynolds is spurious, and is not proven.

Yet when I click on Jordan-811 I still see Cecily Reynolds as a wife, and when I cursor over her name it shows Reynolds-1803, but when I click on her name Unknown-220794 shows up.

This is a glitch.

When I open the profile(s) for the 2 wife(s) of Samuel Jordan they both show to be the same person and ID Unknown-220794. And she shows to have been married to 2 men. I would assume these two profiles have been merged and completed and they are protected profiles.

Wife of Samuel Jordan — married December 1, 1620 in Henrico Co, Virginiamap

Wife of William Farrar I — married May 2, 1625 in Henrico Co, Virginiamap

Sorry David, your answer is frustrating as it does not address the issue.

Reynolds-1803 and Unknown-22074 are one and the same, except her maiden name is not Reynolds.

These two profiles were merged, yet they still show up as two wives of Jordan-811.

My question is why are they showing up as two different wives.

Cecily had three husbands Unknown Baley, Samuel Jordan, William Farrar

Apparently Cicely just was stuck in WikiTree limbo after the merge.  When I removed her as a wife of Samuel Jordan, she disappeared, so everything should be OK now.
