My father was adopted by Stuart MacDonald George Courtney. His parent or Uncle joined him on a ship to SA and his name we think was Edward Harry Courtenay. Some family members could remember way back of a name or number tattooed on the arm.
Also my Father's records is lost and couldn't find anything in SA archive where else can I try please? His names was the same as his father's Stuart MacDonald. George Courtney Born 20 March 1941 in Pretoria Government House for unmarried mothers.
