Her father was William Stribling. However, Frances (Frankie) was born in Virginia. She had 4 siblings Catherine (Kitty), Elizabeth, Anna and William Jr. All of these are proven children of William Stribling whose wife was named Mary. We assume that Mary was the mother as well but that is not proven. We also know that these are all of the adult children of William. Upon his death, the land was divided into fifths. My great-great-great grandmother (Catherine/Kitty) sold her portion to Nelson Bush.
