After searching using everthing geneology wise in Ireland.Of course Ireland
Government during WW1 destroyed a lot of paper records too make paper
pulp,during a paper shortage.The only thing i found was a John Mansfield
age 23 born 1877 travelled too Cape South Africa in 1900.Ship
Aotea,Maybe he went too visit his son.Saw several Family Trees
but they all have the basic info you have ,with no proof.I have Find My
Past,an excellent research site they show nothing.I did see a photograph of Harold Douglas,a dapper young man,in a suit his hair
parted in the middle.nice looking man.By the way John in early Ireland
was Joannes.Sorry Carol but you have a tough road to travel.
