Actor or Actress - which category?

Question

There is a category of Categories, with the subcategory of Professions, with the subcategory Entertainers, with the subcategory of Actresses (female).

However, there is also a category of Categories, with the subcategory of Professions, which has its own subcategory of Actors (males AND females).

I have a female 'acting person' or actress.  Which category should I put her into?

Seems like there should be one category for both genders and someone needs to decide its best location in the category hierarchy.

Please don't add her to the Actress category.  If she fits into any of the existing subcategories, such as [[Category: Silent Movie Stars]] and [[Category: Famous Actors of the 20th Century]] add her to them.

Concur.  And anyone currently categorized as actress should be appropriately recategorized and that category should be retired with a note on its page not to use it.
