Does anyone know of Samuel Barbers who lived in south Georgia from around 1800 to 1860?

My great-great grandfather was Samuel Barber. He was abt 60 years old in 1860, the last recorded Census for him in Clinch County, Georgia. At the time, he lived with his wife, Sarah, 28, and children William Cornelius (my great grandfather), James, Mary, Rachel, Elizabeth and Caroline. His family -- minus Samuel -- were living in Echols County in the 1870 Census, and I can trace his children to Berrien County and Lowndes County in subsequent years. I have found several Samuel Barbers in South Georgia and North Florida, but can't find anything to connect them with my Samuel. Any information/suggestions would be deeply appreciated. Much thanks.

Thanks so much for the quick reply. The Samuel W is interesting, but I'm doubting this was my Samuel, because he would have been married to my great-great grandmother for at least eight or 9 years after the 1860 Census. Do you have any idea how old Samuel W. Barber was in Dec. 1849 -- my Samuel would have been about 50 at this point.

I have some information on a Samuel and William Barber in the 1830 Liberty County census that seems promising.
