Gedcoms do not carry pictures forward to Wikitree.

Not only that; most GEDCOM's don't contain pictures. They may contain links to pictures but that's all.
What is on  a gedcom then?. and will all info be in one place Thank you for your help
It is a text file consisting of a series of definitions of the various types of fields in your tree. It is a very old format which is why images aren't supported. You can open a GEDCOM with a text editor (Notepad, for example) but be careful not to change it in any way. Files in this format can be transferred from one genealogy program to another but the process is not error free by a long shot. Each genealogy program does its own thing with the data and there are a lot of incompatibilities.

is probably more than you ever wanted to know about GEDCOM's.
Thank you
