MIlitary Category, Revolution Help?

I've worked on a lot of profiles for people in Wadsworths' Brigade,  5th Battalion Connecticut State Troops. They were out fighting at the Battle of Harlem Heights with Washington and several other places. William Douglas-1024 was a Colonel. Titus Mix was killed.

I want to create a Category, but can't figure where it goes in the hierarchy under Military. Can someone help me please?

Anne,

I would consider putting it under

Category: Connecticut regiments of the Continental Army

an existing category.  And use the name Wadsworth's Brigade

This is based on my brief review of

http://www.douglashistory.co.uk/history/Regiments/wadsworth.htm

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_battle_of_the_Battle_of_Long_Island

If it needs to be moved later that is easy and you can add as many profiles as you have for the name.

The first thing I would do would be to check out the 1776 Project:

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:American_Revolution

That would give you several components to add to the page. One of which is the category for the Battle of Harlem (Heights)

http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Category:Battle_of_Harlem_Heights

Which you already appear to have added. But there are any number of additional categories you can add from the American Revolution page that should help you categorize your ancestor properly.

I guess the question still bears asking - what type of category are you looking to add? Maybe the one you want to use isn't listed on that page...
I'm trying to add one for the military unit, Wadsworth's Brigade, but am uncertain where they fall. I don't think they are continental line because they are referred to as state troops, but neither are they a militia unit, (I don't think), which seem to be the only two choices.
