Would anybody be interested in a Free Space Page with links to members willing to do lookups? [closed]

I know that members make such offers here in G2G but they can easily be overlooked.  I thought maybe a group of us willing to do lookups at commercial sites might be helpful.  I've already been advised by an org of which I'm a paying member that I'd better not share transcriptions of anything I find there, so I know that I have to learn what I can share from each of the sites where I'm a paying member.  I should, at least, be able to share a citation.  Most of these sites are simply collecting, compiling and transcribing materials from other sources and they're paying for the rights to do so.  So, since I'm a paying member of their sites, I have certain rights as well and I have to look into what those rights are in each case.  It begins with the right to use the information I find there for my own use.  Interestingly, in some instances, the same material is sometimes found on free sites.  It's a question that we all have to remember to ask ourselves from time to time.

In any case, let me know if any of you are interested in such a thing.

I'm closing comments on this and will "delete" the Free Space page.  Too many issues....

You would have to be *really* careful.  Even FamilySearch.org, which is free, has as part of their Terms & Conditions "You may not post content from this site on another website or on a computer network without our permission. You may not transmit or distribute content from this site to other sites. You may not use this site or information found at this site (including the names and addresses of those who have submitted information) to sell or promote products or services, to solicit clients, or for any other commercial purpose."

Yeah, can-of-worms, I guess.  And, I have a ton of other stuff to do.  I just like to have access to stuff and thought a central place to find lookups might be nice.  I'm going to "delete" the Free Space page.
Lorraine, I think your idea is a wonderful one.

I have had good success posting individual look up requests on g2g directly.

I have also posted on certain source pages (where I own a copy) that I am willing to do lookups. (Like a book that is not digitized.)
