I get caught in a loop trying to create a profile for my deceased mother. It just keeps saying no matches and I get sent back

Have you tried going to your fatherʻs profile and adding your mother as spouse?

If that does not work, come back here and a more techie person will help you.

Is this with your GedCompare that is sending you back? If this is what is vausing an issue it might be that you need to check every profile in the GEDCOM upload. https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Space:Current_GEDCOMpare_Process shows the process.
