Is there a technical problem with Trautmann-159, as manual or use of citation button is not adding sources?

Question

I have added sources many times both manually & by using he citation button and have not had a problem. For some reason I am unable to succeed with this particular profile, Trautmann-159, a profile I manage.

I was able to add a test citation (still there) without a problem. Have you tried to log out and then log back in to WikiTree? That might clear whatever is causing your error. Also, see if the problem replicates using a different browser.

Is the problem that the sources you are adding are not being displayed on the profile? That is because the profile is missing the required sections (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Biographies#Required:_Biography_and_Sources):

== Sources ==
<references />

It is the <references /> part that tells the system where to display the inline references, so if that is missing then they will not be displayed.
