How to interpret GEDMATCH DNA Findings?

I did a one on one autosomal comparison with the following results:

Largest segment = 12.6 cM
Total Half-Match segments (HIR) 20.9cM (0.583 Pct)
Estimated number of generations to MRCA = 4.7
2 shared segments found for this comparison.
444666 SNPs used for this comparison.
52.322 Percent of SNPs are full identical.

The Chr was Chr 3 with 8.2 cM and 1211 SNPs and Chr 15 with 12.6 cM and 972 SNPs.

What does this mean? How close a relative is this person? I can't find any common names in her family tree.

You and your match share an ancestor who may have lived about 4 or 5 generations ago.

I recommend adding more of your ancestry to WikiTree and encouraging your match to join WikiTree.
