Newt Lawton-3097 introducing myself

Question

Hi, I just stumbled across WikiTree so I'm anxious to learn more about it.  I can trace Lawton from Michigan back through Athol, MA. Then where it was changed from "Laughton" and earlier generations arriving in 1635 or 1637 in Lynn, MA as Thomas Laughton Sr.  Always interested to learn more!

With the recent "Patriots Day" of 4/19 - I was looking to see who might have answered the call that day.  I think Jeremiah Laughton of Harvard, MA perhaps.... he had a death date of Aug. 11, 1775.  Any confirmation welcome.
