LNAB in capital letters and Military prefix

Hello all

I have two questions.

  1. Is it worthwhile changing the LNAB for [[CLARIDA-18|Robert wilford (CLARIDA) Claridy (1907-1991)]] from the all capital letter version he is currently recorded as to the version Clarida?
  2. On his grave memorial there is a listing saying CMOMM. What does this stand for and should it be included in the prefix field?
I discovered this profile as it was unsourced and have no other connection to it.
Thank You
Darren

All capital letters in Last Name at Birth or other name fields is contrary to explicit WikiTree policy. See

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Name_Fields#Capitalization

which says

It is never appropriate to use ALL CAPS.

So yes, the LNAB should be changed.

From this very long list of Naval ranks, https://www.cem.va.gov/docs/wcag/hmm/Inscription-Abbreviations-Ranks-Navy.pdf , CMOMM is chief motor machinist mate.
