As responses show, this question appears to raise some wide-ranging general issues on WikiTree policy, and not to be specific to the Scotland Project.
That is because you keep asking the same question over and over about an issue that you are missrepresenting and i never proposed
I agree with Michael that this isn't specific to the Scotland Project although the application of the proposal uses Scottish people as examples.
isn't the Scotland project about Scottish people ?
It is about people who were born or lived in Scotland.  That doesn't exclude people whose ancestors were born in Scotland from joining the project and being very effective researchers in Scottish records.

I have closed this question and made my research private, people are misrepresenting what I am saying, I did not ask to join the Scotland Project, as stated  elsewhere this is about DNA- research and or records obtained through tradition or digital  consensus such as ANCESTRY's True Lines , faced with the lack of reliable sources to help find a ancestors using tools, i only ask for feedback but there is to much misunderstanding so I am restricting my research on WikiTree and taking myself off as many profiles that I can, like i have said , I have closed this question and the research

Please add the tag Scotland so someone from the Scotland Project sees this.

I have some questions:

  • what are inline trees?
  • are you proposing creating hypothetical people as WT profiles or creating another type of object on WT that looks like a profile?
by Doug McCallum G2G6 Pilot (535k points)

hypothetical people- proposition made as a basis for reasoning, without any assumption of its truth.

inline family tree-straight inline family tree design, strait path to a common ancestor , examples at links

Kevin, I am afraid it is unclear what you are proposing. If you are proposing the creation of profiles for hypothetical people, I am afraid this goes against the Honor code with its commitment to sources and accuracy. If you are suggesting "tradition" should be regarded as trustworthy, then, as most people who have done substantial genealogical research know, I am afraid traditions cannot be regarded as reliable. What matters is hard evidence.

I may have misunderstood you. I have trouble understanding the free space page you have linked to.
by Michael Cayley G2G6 Pilot (229k points)

You are missing the boat completely, did you read the free page, this is research that may have "unproven sources" to complete genealogical problems, lacking that evidence, using these X-DNA trails as examples, "work out" to multiple trees between multiple matches over and over again is hard evidence, remember the possibilities are limited you have to follow the rules  digital records and tradition are also used, I said nothing about creating Profiles , this is research period, take it or leave it.

I am sorry, I am still bemused and not understanding what you have in mind. I remain far from clear what you are suggesting.
you have to study the page
I have, twice, and I regret that I do not comprehend what is being suggested on the free space page.

I found it very difficult to read.

It would definitely benefit from correcting the spelling (starting with changing"aloud" to "allowed" in the title) and clarifying many of the sentences.

I would not be a fan of adding "hypothetical people" more than a couple of generations back, based just on DNA and "tradition".

could never spell, I'm also dyslexic, I'm only talking about one or two generations of hypotheticals (But not made up) as exampled in these tree's, maybe you would like to rewrite it ? English was not my best subject, logic was.

I am getting more confused, Kevin. In a response to me in this set of conversations, you included a statement that you had "said nothing about creating profiles". You seem, though (as I originally suspected) to be envisaging the creation of profiles for “hypotheticals“. I remain unclear about exactly what you have in mind.

WikiTree sets minimum sourcing standards for profiles, and profiles should not be created unless those standards are met. If you are contemplating departing from the policy on this, then I would myself see this as requiring a fairly fundamental change of general WikiTree policy, and possibly even an amendment of the Honor Code, which refers to accuracy and sourcing: if this is what you have in mind, I believe you need to bring forward a proposal for a policy change - please see https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Developing_New_Rules. The WikiTree community would then be able to debate the pros and cons.

As I said in a separate answer, I may be misinterpreting what you have in mind. I am finding it hard to understand exactly what you are envisaging.

I have answered you question, more over the answers are contained in the free page. I told you no where does it state making hypothetical profiles. Stop putting words in my mouth, although it does state at the bullet points for the creation of a widget for plugging in hypothetical. Ancestors  or descendants that may have some DNA or traditional consensus, creation of a widget.  This is a research and an experimental free page, with examples of my research period, you are misstating the purpose. I have come to the conclusions or results through much experimenting witch i believe could have been made easier with the tools stated at the bullets, take or leave what you will from my research. The whole purpose of this page is to try and help someone solve problems in genealogical trees with the use of X-DNA and other sources when there is a lack of sourcing standards. This is an exercise if you have a problem with it move on
