Off point [apologies]. Tina, is your surname possibly Moravian, or Bohemian? I transcribed a Terezie Kocaba and got several error codes, she is on my Viele lineage, and the spelling came from her marriage documents and her naturalization papers. Your surname is the closest I have seen to what might be deemed acceptable. That was really only one question. Please and thank you!

Hi Mary,

My Kobus line is from Poland.  Specifically the Pomeranian province.  There are also a lot of Kobus profiles on Wikitree from the Netherlands.  Sorry, haven't seen any in Moravia or Bohemia.  People move around, so it is possible.
