merging says I am not on trusted list

I've accidentally created 2 profiles for same person Wills-6468 and Will-6437. Both show me as being the profile manager however when I try to merge them it says I am not on the trusted list? I can't understand or work out what to do?

There was no proposed merge for these profiles so i did just did that. You should be able to complete the merge.
