Advice before editing this pre-1700 Biddle profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of William Biddle. This is what I can add:

He was born in 1630 

These are the sources I am using:

Colonial Families of the USA, 1607-1775, page 92

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

If Colonial Families lists a primary source, verify that it is correct and use that as your source. I find it best to treat that series as a place for clues as it does contain a fair share of inaccuracies.

I feel quite certain that 1630 is an estimate only. The date on the profile is a baptism date found in a genealogical journal.

Just to note:  the baptism mentioned took place in Birlingham rather than Worcester as in location field. It was on 10 March 1623/4. (and unlikely to be 4 years after birth)
