Canadian Connectors Connect-a-Thon Team Chat April 2024

Question

The April Connect-A-Thon is HERE!! 

START  Friday, April 12, at 8 AM EDT (12pm UTC)

FINISH Monday, April 15, at 8 AM EDT (12pm UTC).

The goal of the Connect-A-Thon is to decrease the number of profiles that are not connected to our big tree. 

We do this by adding relatives (missing parents, siblings, spouses, or children) to existing profiles and hopefully somewhere connect another branch!

Please check out our Team Page or post any questions you have here on the chat.

We are also using Discord for anyone who wants to live chat there.

As always, you can send me a direct message if you prefer!

EDIT TO ADD: WE HAVE 27 TEAM MEMBERS!!! That puts us in Division III (teams with 21 to 50 members).

 I descend from William - John H - Russell - Thomas - me.  Which child does your husband descend from?

I have been adding a bit each day and keep telling myself wait for the tele-a-ton!

Should we make a list? Anyone have a game plan ?

Everyone definitely has their own approach, so it would be interesting to see some answers!

I like to work off of a couple things:

- the Unconnected Profiles in my Watchlist;

- the Needs Profiles Created maintenance categories (like this one for Ontario);

- or, I just started a Free Space Page To Do List for myself, where I am keeping track of profiles to work on during the CAT's
