OJ Simpson has died at 76

ABC News is reporting that OJ Simpson has died yesterday while battling cancer.

"On April 10th, our father, Orenthal James Simpson, succumbed to his battle with cancer. He was surrounded by his children and grandchildren. During this time of transition, his family asks that you please respect their wishes for privacy and grace," a statement from his family said.

For all the bad publicity and negative impact some of his life decisions may have caused, I will always remember him as a tremendous NFL player and iconic for his airport commercial (for Hertz, I think) where he hurdled the airport seats on his way through the airport. I pray he made his peace with the world and rests now in a better place.
