Peter Zollinger served in the Revolution and is buried in the church grave yard in Abbottstown, York, PA. He was German speaking, the gravestone is in German and shows he was born 8 May 1727. I cannot find an immigration record, the place of birth, or his parents. It has been speculated that the family might have been from Zurich, Switzerland.
He is the grandfather of Zollinger 274.
