Hello! It seems that this book does a pretty great job laying out and differentiating between the two van den Bergh brother progenitors as well as other men who share similarities:

'''Book''': "The van den Berghs in America" https://www.familysearch.org/library/books/records/item/190860-the-van-den-berghs-in-america?offset= (accessed 6 April 2024) Identifier: 726887; Creator: Stockman, D. Wade (Donald Wade); Language: English; Subject: van den Bergh family; Extent: 749 p.; Page Count: 789; Owning Institution: FamilySearch Library; Publisher Digital: FamilySearch International; Access Level: Full Permission.

I will happily help collaborate with other folks out there to verify and add in these branches, backed up with what sources we can find.

Posting this on G2G as well. Hoping this source is as helpful for others as it has been for my tree!
