Corrections in the Colonial Virginia George Hobson (c 1677-1748) family [closed]

Question

This post is meant to serve as a place for discussion on probable errors in the George Hobson family both upstream and downstream.

England: the parentage presently attached to colonial Virginian Hobson-126 appears to have multiple issues. See research notes on Hobson-248 for the basis for the present connection. The profiles suggest a first marriage for two 17th Century English people at age 42. The further upstream profiles also need scrutiny.

Children of Hobson-126. In his will George Hobson names two sons, two grandsons and one granddaughter. The presently unsourced 'son' profiles for Stephen and Charles are most likely the grandsons and should be merged with the grandson profiles of those names. There is no extant evidence that Hobson-126 had sons Stephen and Charles.

Edit: it also appears that 'son' William of Hobson-126 is in fact also a grandson. There is a discrepancy on this in the two transcriptions of the will of George Hobson Sr. However, the latter research appears to show William is a grandson, not son.

Merge of Hobson-493 (non-existent son Stephen) into grandson Stephen Hobson-124 has been proposed. Further, the Hobson-493 profile has a birth and death in Chester County, Pennsylvania where the family is not documented to have lived (this location is speculation).

Merge of Hobson-494 (non-existent son Charles) into grandson Charles Hobson-72 has been proposed. Further, the Hobson-494 profile has a birth and death in Chester County, Pennsylvania where the family is not documented to have lived (this location is speculation).

William Hobson-495 is the grandson of the parents to which he is currently attached (per will of the grandfather). Hobson-495 needs to be attached as son of George Hobson-73.
