Can you clarify: "if two brothers have taken yDNA tests, both tests will appear on their father's profile, their paternal grandfather's profile, their great-grandfather's profile, etc., " it's found in footnote 1.This essay, the ACA by Dr. Tim Janzen, is almost always clear enough to make most things fairly clear, given the entire area is confusing. But the grammar of the sentence I quoted, seems unclear: how can tests show up on a person's profile? Do you mean test results relating to paternity (the example regards the yDna tests)?
That said, perhaps I need to go through the examples. I've read the essay, not deeper at this time.
I will soon have both my adult sons testing autosomally, so I also gather that nothing yet can be said of their DNA relationship because of the method of testing. To complicate matters, they have different fathers.
