I think I have James Quinn in the Tithe Appointment book. The site says the town Clonacuska.  When I search for this town I don't find anything. Does the site have the right town. How can I find more this place?

Likely means Cloonnacusha townland in the parish of Tynagh (as it is known today):

Townlands are the smallest unit that land is broken down into, they aren’t “towns” and a town can be comprised of several townlands. It’s good to know a townland that your ancestor was born/lived or died in. Now often the road is named after the townland it’s in, though they are adding the townland name to many of the road signs.

Since I am not sure which part of Ireland you are familiar with I can't comment but around here in Mayo nearly all townlands have signs at the bottom of the road leading to them usually, or a sign at the start of the townland and I am not aware of any road named after the townland, by a road sign. Most of them where I live are signed by their road number. There are some roads in town that are named for the townland that they lead to but more commonly the next village which may of may not be the name of the townland.
I was talking about rural areas in Co Tyrone, Co Down etc. just because a road name matches a townland name doesn’t mean you are in in but chances are it passes through … from my childhood, the Orritor Road, passed through the own land of Orritor but also Tamlaght, Maloon, Gortreagh, Gortin etc, and the Mackenny road did pass through Mackenny but also Orritor. They also have more modern B road and A road numbers too.
