Hi David! Welcome to WikiTree!
This is a very friendly place, IMHO and from my experience interacting with other members. Because this is not only a place to park our persona pedigree, sooner or later you will connect to the "Big Tree", and when you do, you will see that many member here are your cousins who share a distant grandfather!
Now, that being said, WikiTree has a FREE app called Sourcer that you may use to find sources for your family, and then that app wi;ll also collect and add the sources to your clipboard so you can paste them in the biography you create! Your uncle would have been amazed!
I went to the profile of Joseph Henry Louis Guyott and ran WikiTree Sourcer. Already it turned up some conflicts with the information you entered: (of course this might be the wrong Joseph Guyott)
