The following three German publications may provide the birth date for Ernst Albert Meyer:- (1) Emil von Loeper: "Von Loepersches Familienbuch, Labes/Hinterpommern, 1929", (2) the Von Loeper genealogy in "Genealogisches Handbuch des Adels, Band 9, Limburg a.d.Lahn 1954, and/or (3) the Von Loeper genealogy in "Genealogisches Handbuch des Adels, Band 129, Limburg a.d. Lahn, 2002"

If you are asking about the three publications you mentioned in your comment on the cited profile, it would be helpful to copy your comment into your question here (use the "edit" link below your name to open your question for editing).
Gothaer .... should be on Google Books and Internet Archive
Familienbuch is able at Landeshauptarchiv Brandenburg and apparently in no other public library:

These might also be useful: http://www.heraldik-wappen.de/viewtopic.php?t=5748

In general I would suggest trying to retrieve the marriage record from Berlin City Archives (or ancestry, if they have it). It should be a bit more precise on his origin and birthday.
I have added the sharing links to the marriage record and to a daughters birth record. (Not transcribed yet.)

Thank you again for all your trouble Bettina! With regard to the marriage record of Ernst Meyer and Johanna von Loeper (ID No. Meyer-24700) which you so kindly added to the sources, there should be two pages. However, page 1 is a copy of Ernst Meyer's death notice (which I already have) whereas page 2 contains the last few paragraphs of the marriage record. May I take the liberty to ask you to also submit page 1 of the marriage record please.

Kind regards

Leon Endemann
Sorry, I have corrected the link.

Thank you for the correction Bettina! Now the marriage registration document is complete. All the information on the document is very valuable as well as clear to me, except for the bridegroom's place of residence in Berlin, which I could not make out. Could you help with that please?
The address is Rungestraße No. 15, which is in Berlin-Mitte.
Many thanks for this info! It seems as if the Meyer couple changed their home address a number of times between 1880 and 1882 around that area of Berlin Mitte: First Rungestrasse 15, then Zionskirchplatz 10 and finally Templinerstrasse 15.

Best regards

Leon Endemann.

Meanwhile Herr Florian Seher of the BLHA (Brandenburg Landeshauptarchiv) in Potsdam has consulted the Von Lopersches Familienbuch in their library. Although this publication does not provide any light on Ernst Albert Meyer's biographical details, he forwarded copies of the salient pages regarding that branch of the Von Loeper family which is indeed valuable for my research.
