Orphaned Profiles

Question

Hello.  I'm curios why all my profiles are orphaned profiles?  Should I adopt them all?  I"m just two weeks into Wiki-Tree and still learning the ropes.  Loving it so far!!!!

Why do you say that all of your profiles are orphaned? When you create a new profile, you automatically are the profile manager for that profile.  So, unless you deliberately remove yourself, you are the PM for whatever profiles you have created, as for example this profile which lists you as PM: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Brown-173234

I must have looked at it incorrectly.  Currently, I'm not seeing my profiles as orphaned.  It was clearly an operator error, lol.  Thank you for replying.

Don't worry, it's easy to make that mistake. When you go to "Orphaned Profiles" in the menu, if the profile in the list is highlighted, then it is actually Orphaned and you can adopt it.
