Advice before editing this pre-1700 Mitchell profile?

I have information to contribute to the profile of John Henry Mitchell. This is what I can add:

  • I would like to add a paragraph providing the details of the information in John's Will.
  • I would like to add the Will as an in-line Source.
  • There is a photo of the Will on this profile, but it's not clearly legible.  If I can add a link, I would do so.

These are the sources I am using:

  • Ancestry.com. Virginia, U.S., Wills and Probate Records, 1652-1900 [database on-line]. Lehi, UT, USA: Ancestry.com Operations, Inc., 2021.
Original data: Virginia County, District, and Probate Courts.

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

I'm not familiar with this man or the sources for early Virginia, but the changes you propose to make sound very appropriate. Wills are excellent sources for pre-1700, and good transcripts and images of wills are much better than fuzzy images.
