Is there a project that covers these pre-1700 people?

I want to contribute to the deep genealogy on our shared tree. Here are people I can add, along with dates and locations:

  • John has 2 daughters: Elizabeth c.1706 married James Smith and Hannah c.1711; both were alive when father died in 1748; no further information.  Source: John's will.
  • Son George 1704-1789; source is George's will which names children and his housekeeper with whom he had 3 children but never married her.
  • George's wife Elizabeth Williams
  • Henry Taylor 1707-1771, George's brother; names his children
  • Stephen Taylor 1755-1844's, son of George.

Here are the sources I am using:

  • John's will 1748; George's will 1789;
  • "From: "Families of Sequoyah County,OK" Contact: Sharen Neal
  • URL: http://worldconnect.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=mjr6387
  • WILL of Henry Taylor 1771
  • Loudoun County Virginia Will Book A, Pages 318-319
  • DAR A112989

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

Thank you for your interest and efforts, Leigh. Before starting to add a new person to WikiTree, please be sure to do a search to see that said person is not already profiled.  That can be kind of a nuisance to do, perhaps especially so with names that are already heavily represented, but it helps to reduce duplicates.

George Taylor 1704 - 1789 has a profile here and is attached to a father, John.  Are these some of the people you are referencing? Henry and Stephen are also attached.
