Hoping that someone can look for the following in Clarke's Gravestone Inscriptions (Volume 6-10).
[[Dickson-8348|Isobell (Dickson) Reid (abt.1680-abt.1750)]]
born unknown, married Rev. James Reid of Killinchy (1677-1753), she died after 1753 as she's not included on his gravestone (Clarke Vol. 6 p. 41) and Rev. Reid lists her and children in his Will. On the page with Rev. Reid it states "see Hamilton," so perhaps she remarried a Hamilton? She may be listed in Vol. 6 Killinchy and Killyleagh but Dickson also listed in Vols 7 - 9 with Vol. 7 Killyleagh and Vol. 9 Magheradrool likely.
Rev. Archibald Dickson, perhaps Isabell Dickson Reid's brother: born 1682 and died March 1739 in Saintfield where he had been the minister for many years. The existing 1st Pres Church in Saintfield and adjoining graveyard was constructed after his death. He was not listed in Clarke's Vols 1-5.
Janet _?_ Dickson Campbell, mother of Rev. Archibald Dickson who died after 1739 (mentioned in Rev. Dickson's Will, and lived in/near Saintfield. Campbells are listed in Vols 6-9 with the most likely in 6 and 7 Killinchy and Killyleagh and 9 Magheradrool.
Isabell _?_, widow of John Hill and wife of Rev. Archibald Dickson. She also outlived the Reverend (mentioned in Rev. Dickson's Will). She and Mr. Hill had a son John. Hills are listed in Vols 7-10 again with the most likely in 6 and 7 Killinchy and Killyleagh and 9 Magheradrool.
I've checked Clarke's Volumes 1-5 and although I found many related to my ancestral families, I did not find any reference to the above.
Happy to share what I've found regarding Rev. Archibald Dickson and Rev. James Reid.
Cheers!
