Advice for categorization of Watson-12194?

Question

I would like advice or may need help creating a new category for the profile of Robert Parker Watson Sr.. The category might be named something like Proposed Category Name.

He graduated from Fenn College in Cleveland, Ohio about 1954. Fenn College was the precursor institution of Cleveland State University formed in 1964. Would it be proper to have a separate category for Fenn College or list the category as Cleveland State University?

My understanding of the standard practice is that the precursor would have its own category.
