Jim, I don't pretend to understand the formatting for stickers vs templates but:
'Stickers are to honor a person or otherwise highlight something that's deemed to be very important about them.'
We have stickers that say many variations of Joseph Smith was born in England, or Joseph Smith was a farmer or a plumber. While this information may be interesting it is not important.
As a possible part of a One Place Study or a Cemetery project study, location is important.
Cemetery Stickers are an important part of information about people who are buried in a particular cemetery.
Yes people can scroll to the bottom of the profile page to check where a person was buried, but having a sticker on the profile immediately informs a viewer that the person was buried in a particular location.
I have been contacted by many people about their ancestors who are buried at Alton Cemetery, Peel, Ontario, Canada, ( my cemetery Project) because they saw the sticker front and centre on the person's profile.
As I need to get up at 4.30 am Eastern Standard time I will not comment further.
When I have more time available I will discuss this with the Cemeterist Project.
