Ghost profiles in categories

Question

Finally the database cleanup of ghost profiles in categories is done. Those profiles were merged or LNAB changed from 14-18 december after the server upgrades.

If you will spot any other profiles in a category that shouldn't be there, let us know.

Actually if the profile was last saved in mid december you can try resaving a profile and it should fix the problem.

Hi, just FYI I am still seeing some profiles edited in Dec2023 appearing in unsourced lists when they shouldn't be doing so. I had hoped with the latest weekly data refresh these would have dropped off but apparently not. I have begun editting them again by just adding an extra space in the bio to force them to drop off. I don't mind doing this but thought I'd let you know the fix doesn't seem to have worked in all cases.

A couple of examples are White-26170 and Borley-133 but there are others too.

EDIT: I've just seen in another G2G thread that there was a problem with the unsourced reports running this week. So maybe the category fix is OK and the report not running correctly is the problem???

I know that the fix didn't resolve all ghost profiles. It resolved only the renamed/merged ones. Those were impossible to resave.

Resaving a ghost profile should resolve the problem. I don't think the number of those goes into thousands. If I am wrong, maybe some solution could be found, but it would be a complicated one.
