Hello!
My brick wall is Demarcus Anderson of Greenpond, Pittsylvania County, VA, born 1814 - died abt. 1870. His wife was Mary "Polly" Smith Anderson, born 1822 - died 1894.
Their son, Tazwell Green Anderson, born 1853- died 1937, who married Lucy Emma Blair, had a child, Charles Arthur Anderson, Sr., who married Mary Elizabeth Clark. Their son, Charles "Charlie" Arthur Anderson, Jr., was my father.
While I have information and photos of each of these other people, there is nothing else about Demarcus - no photos, no family memories, and no records other than census records. His name, often shortened to "Marcus Anderson", which was a common name even at that time, makes the search more difficult. Any help would be appreciated!
