My family surname was altered upon coming to America to Dean. There's a bit of confusion about Richard Hamo Dentatus and if I can just clear this hurdle, I can keep going.

If he was born in 0935 and died in 1047, that makes him 112 years old when he died, in an age when the average life expectancy was 30-40 years old.  Are both those dates correct?
