I just signed up a few minutes ago. I have been into genealogy since 1977. I do most of my work using MyHeritage.com and keep a membership on ancestry.com. I like wikitree.com with its articles. I have trailed my Wilson's back to Scotland. I am from the State of Georgia. The ancestor named Lazarus Johnson and Mary Outland are my direct ancestors. Like you, I am just feeling my way around wikitree.com. I saw you listed Johnson and Wilson as surnames you are working, or a least I think that's right.
My Wilson ancestors are Anderson South Carolina by way of Pennsylvania first then Virginia. Col. John Burgess Wilson is my direct ancestor. He lived in Augusta County, Virginia and served in the House of Burgess for 27 years.
