I'm sure profile Unknown-57007 and Rupp-936 are the same person.  Thanks for your attention.

Just to clarify  -  that is UNKNOWN-57007 and Rupp-936.

Or UNKNOWN-57007 and Rupp-936 - for quick access.

If these 2 profiles represent the same person, why is it that between the two Wikitree profiles, Barbara Yoder has THREE daughters named Magdalena--and each one married a different man (unsourced).  If these 3 Magdalenas can be "reconciled" with sources, then we can be much more sure that the two profiles represent the same person.

UPDATE:  NOT the same person; don't merge.  There exists a Barbara Rupp (1757-1822), who married a Jacob Yoder (1752-1842)--but she is obviously different from Barbara Unknown, who married Jacob Yoder (1695-1751).  According to her profile at Strausstown Roots, the idea that Barbara Unknown is actually Barbara Yoder originates from an unsourced Facebook post.

Thanks for investigating what seemed to me to be a no-brainer. I will not pursue this merge thanks to the G2G Team.

Happy hunting.

Thanks for the best answer star--though I'm not sure I deserve it if the two profiles end up being the same person after all. I am still working on this puzzle, but these Swiss Mennonites in Pennsylvania in general (and Yoders, Beilers, and Rupps specifically)--have quite a lot of cousin-marrying going on over multiple generations.  Perhaps Barbara was a Rupp, but we don't yet have a source to show it.
