Problems with Category Count [closed]

Question

I am working with a fairly large category and therefore the total is only updated once a day. However it hasn't updated for several days now, if not a week, and I was wondering if there is a technical problem. I can see from the Activity Feed that new profiles have been added.

Which category?  It may have subcategories that the profiles have been added to, which won't necessarily increase the category's numbers, only the subcategory's numbers.

I am in this category regularly and it normally changes on a daily basis. I use it to produce monthly stats for my project team, so haven't been able to produce figures for January. The category is Island Magee Parish, County Antrim.

It is showing as size 4067, indeed over the 1500 limit for continuous update.

Yes, it's been over the limit for a while but I know what time of the day the daily update is done, so I know when to look and it's been stuck on 4067 for about 2 weeks now. We have a target of adding 100 profiles a month and as we broke through the 4000 barrier in December I'm hoping we are, in reality, a bit closer to 4100!

Category: Battenberg (Eder), Hessen has been stuck at 1942 since January 25. Since I am adding profiles to that category daily, I am sure that it updated on the 23rd, pretty sure it did on the 24th, and certain that it failed to update on the 25th. It should be just above 2100 now.

Note that the numbers of sub-categories and pages in that category are also wrong: It says on the main category page that there are 5 sub-categories and 1 page (it should be 6 and 2, respectively).

The sub-category Category: Frohnhausen (Battenberg), Hessen has also failed to update: It still says 33, even though there are 34 profiles in that category since last Thursday. The problem is not only affecting large categories.
